How do we make work, work?
Challenge
COVID-19 has shifted employee attitudes, behaviours and desired experiences when it comes to where and how people want work. To encourage over 3000 staff to adopt Freshield's mandatory 'Return to Office' agile working policy, reduce the reliance on hybrid or fully remote work and repopulate HQ, the Chief Operating Officer needed a communication strategy, execution and message that spoke to all mindsets and working preferences.
Impact
Giving the COO confidence to launch the company wide 'Return to Work' policy. We delivered a messaging framework, designed artefacts and a communication roadmap. Digital signage with 'Empowering Tomorrow' content is now a permenant feature across Freshfields HQ.

Idea
To change behaviours and move staff from the WFH default, we took a human-centered approach. Through desk research and employee interviews, we uncovered insights and mapped employee motivations to create a communication strategy around support, safety, control, respect and responsibility.
The Return to Work manifesto was anchored in the firm's purpose of 'Empowering Tomorrow' and joy, culture and empathy brought meaning to the creative execution.
